Getting There

Transportation by Boat

Guests will access the venue via private tender boats provided by the yacht club. Each tender boats holds around 30 people comfortably. Please arrive at the tender boarding area a few minutes before your chosen departure time.

Tender Schedule

  • Departure trips to the Island: Tender boats will depart at the following set times:
    • 3:40 PM
    • 4:10 PM
    • 4:20 PM
    • 4:40 PM
    • Hourly beginning at 6:20 PM until 10:20 PM
  • Returns trips to the Mainland: Return trips will run on an hourly schedule, starting at 6:00 PM and ending at 11:00 PM.

Look for the sign advising wedding guests where to wait for the private tender. Irene from our wedding team will also be at the dock to greet and assist guests.

NOTE: The dock is NOT the pier to Centre Island. It is close to Billy Bishop Airport on Queens Quay West. A visual landmark is the Canada Malting Silos on Queens Quay West.

PRO TIP: Traffic into the city can have unpredictable slowdowns. Use Google Maps, Waze, or other GPS directions apps to see how to get there and how long it will take. Better yet, we encourage guests to take pubic transit like the GO Train, subway, streetcar, or take an Uber!

  • Public Transit:
    • If you’re coming from outside Toronto, you can take a GO train to Union Station.
    • From Union Station, you can get to the dock by ordering an UBER or via TTC streetcars.
    • The departure dock is on Queens Quay West and Dan Leckie Way (just before Bathurst Street).
